Meetings

CEL meets Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on campus at the Emerging Technologies Building (ETB) in Room 1037. Our September 18 meeting will be in Wisenbaker 232. Our meetings feature a series of guest speakers, short lessons, worship, and breakouts into committee time. 

Breakaway

CEL enjoys sitting together at Breakaway on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. in Reed Arena.

Fun Fridays

Every Friday evening, we meet up to play either games, any and all sports related games (football, soccer, Frisbee, and more), get dinner, or just hang out for most of the night. Details on location and specific activities are announced weekly at meetings and in the emails.

Our committees also put on a number of other events throughout the year, including but not limited to:

• Holiday Parties: CEL celebrates various holidays, such as Halloween, Christmas, and the end of the academic year together with events put on by our Inreach Committee.

• Benefit Concert: The Fundraising Committee organizes an annual benefit concert that raises funds for our chosen philanthropy. The money raised will go to Every Village, a nonprofit dedicated to providing clean water and radios that air the Gospel in South Sudan.

• Mission Trip: Every spring, CEL members will donate a weekend of their time to go somewhere out of College Station to serve the community. In the past, we have gone to God’s Garage in Conroe, TX, and were also blessed to stay a few nights at Spring Baptist Church!

• Weekly Evangelism: The Campus Evangelism committee plans times throughout the week for members to get together and talk to people on campus about the Gospel. Additionally, on most Fridays, Campus Evangelism holds tabling sessions outside the MSC to engage the Texas A&M community with the Gospel through various questions written on a whiteboard.
