For January 12th and January 27th meetings, we will be in Wisenbaker 236C!
Our Meetings
CEL meets on Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Emerging Technologies Building (ETB) Room 1020. Potential members are always welcome to visit a meeting and check us out! Please reach out to cel.codirectors@gmail.com with any questions.
Our Vision Verse
“Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins. Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies-in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4: 8-11
Our Purpose
The mission and purpose of Christian Engineering Leaders is, first and foremost, to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ. CEL goes about pursuing this central goal in three ways, summed up in three words: Grow, Share, and Prepare.
Grow. CEL is a community of believers in Jesus Christ in the Texas A&M College of Engineering. We desire to see our members grow in their love and devotion to Christ, understanding how the Gospel will shape our lives. We strive to push each other toward holiness, because as God’s children we are called to live above reproach. CEL aims to be a supportive and engaging community for Christian engineering students.
Share. As Christians, we are blessed with the opportunity to share the great news of Jesus Christ with the world! CEL is uniquely positioned in the College of Engineering, and we want to be effective ambassadors for Christ and see lives transformed among our peers. In addition to the College of Engineering, we seek to call people to Christ in Bryan/College Station and beyond.
Prepare. CEL wants to help future engineers prepare for the rest of their lives as followers of Christ. We develop members to reflect Christ through their academics, service, and interpersonal relations; learning how to be faithful witnesses for Christ.
